If you have found that life is putting too many strains on you, or that the load that you are left to carry is too heavy, mindfulness may be the answer. People work their minds too hard sometimes. We are taught to think about our actions before we actually put them into practice. We are taught to think before we speak. In today's society, if we had time to relax and enjoy life, it's unlikely that we would, because such are the demands of a modern era. However, when you find out about mindfulness and start to use it, you begin to see things in a very different light. For example, you notice things you didn't notice before. Why? The problem with our philosophy on life is that we tend to look inward instead of seeing what's going on around us.
There are many books on mindfulness and some of them are useful while others seem to be regurgitated information, rather than being of any substance. The difference with this book is that it's written by someone who teaches people to use mindfulness to help improve the quality of their lives. Mindfulness isn't a fad. In fact, it has been taken so seriously by doctors that prescriptions are even being written for students to attend classes to help them to get over the problems associated with stress and anxiety. The success rate is astounding when you compare it with traditional treatment using medications. Did you know, for example, that statistics show that in America today, the use of medications for stress-related illnesses has increased to a worrying degree but that the figures of people who suffer from anxiety are not going down? Doesn't that tell you something about the efficiency of traditional treatment?
In this book, we look at the possibility of using mindfulness to be more aware of life, rather than hiding behind medication. Our 21 day step-by-step approach should be sufficient to make you feel less stressed by the end of the 21 days and ready to embrace a fresh approach to anxiety. You won't feel overwhelmed by it. You will feel that you are more in control of your life and you will also feel calmer in demeanor. We would suggest that you follow the steps within the book and try it. You have nothing to lose if you are already stressed to the max and are looking for a solution. Doctors in the United Kingdom have been using mindfulness to help those suffering with stress because they have recognized that there is little benefit in stifling people with medications that cause patients to be trapped in a vicious cycle. Now look at what mindfulness does. I know which way you would rather go.
Mindfulness for Beginners 21Day Step by Step Guide to Relieve Stress and Find Peace in Your Everyday Life (Audible Audio Edition) Jill Hesson Lolita Anderson Will Ng Books
"mindfuness" as a practice is far from new and is, in some way, shape of form, an integral part of many philosophical and faith traditions. The "rediscovery" of mindfulness has spawned a plethora of resources aimed at making this an easy part of everyone's life. This 21 step program breaks the process down into simple, clearly articulated steps that are practical and doable. Like mindfulness itself, the directions are straight forward and uncluttered with the overriding caveat that each individual ultimately has to do the work. While the process is simple, it is not easy and there is no magical set of instructions that will take the place of commitment to doing it every day. I would recommend this book to people new to mindfulness as well as to those who have tried (like myself) and still not achieved "success". I received this book in exchange for an honest review which is what I have tried to give you.Product details

Mindfulness for Beginners 21Day Step by Step Guide to Relieve Stress and Find Peace in Your Everyday Life (Audible Audio Edition) Jill Hesson Lolita Anderson Will Ng Books Reviews
Love this book☺ short.... but enough to venture to higher mindfulness and love of self!! Recomemd
Live in the moment. Enjoy life, be happy in the moment.
This book is very easy to read and understand. I'm sure I will re-read it several times.
Very good introduction to mindfulness. I would recommend it to anyone interested in finding out about mindfulness. Good information, easy to read and understand.
I read this little book in about an hour or less, but was uplifted by seeing so many simple yet effective ways to get in touch with our own vitality. I enjoyed the enthusiasm of this author...it was infectious and not too much sugar. Some spice. Some of the techniques could use illustration or instructions. I am not familiar with some of the varieties of Yoga but I have to say this book really piqued my interest. If you are feeling the general malaise that so many are feeling, or just sad from life's inevitable speed bumps....keeping this around until you form those 3 new habits.some very easy...I mean sitting at your desk at work without moving easy,
is going to help.
Absolutely loved the daily concept Jill used here. As a beginner practitioner, it's often hard to fully understand exactly "how" to be mindful. Jill walks through 21 days with you as you slowly become better acquainted with the practice of mindfulness in daily living. Greatest takeaway is that there's no wrong way to do it. How many other areas in our lives are we given the freedom to be creative in our practice or doing of something? Pretty cool concepts and a great delivery. Thanks Jill!
I totally agree with the author to move to Natural healing for stress instead of taking harmful medicine. There is so many secrets hiding in our subconscious that once we can unfold and undo these secrets our lives change disproportionately. I love the way that the author take you step by step giving attention to the smallest detail and do not except that you will know what he/she is talking about. Easy to follow instructions to lead you to a better self. Do not rush this take your time and make sure to master the one step before moving to the next step this is more important than you realize, only when you are done you will feel the importance and be grateful for the results of this 21 days. Mind blowing what 21 days can do for you it will change you for the better. If you want kindness, peace and harmony in your live read and practice these exercises. Wow short and no nonsense you can read 20 books but this cover all the total basics that any book can bring. I will strongly recommend this book to anyone who feels that they need a change or to better themselves.
